Assembly of God Church Patliputra was established in 2006 by Rev. G. S. Bobraj as a pioneering mission outreach program under the visionary leadership of Rev. A. Abraham Thomas (Senior Pastor of Assembly of God Church, Anna Nagar, Chennai). For two decades, we have been committed to declaring Christ, discipling believers, and serving the people of Bihar.
In 2006, carrying a divine burden for Northern India and the historic city of Patna, Rev. G. S. Bobraj arrived with a mandate to establish a spirit-empowered, Bible-centered church. This mission was initiated as an apostolic outreach of Assembly of God Church, Anna Nagar, Chennai under the apostolic leadership of Rev. A. Abraham Thomas, Apostolic Leader.
Starting from modest prayer gatherings with a handful of believers in a rented room, the Lord established the congregation through powerful answered prayers, family transformations, and bold preaching of the cross. Today, AG Church Patliputra stands as a vibrant mother church with active branch fellowships in Kankarbagh, Bhateri, and Kulhariya.
Assembly of God Church Patliputra operates under the spiritual, theological, and ministerial oversight of The Assemblies of God of India. We adhere firmly to Pentecostal doctrine, biblical holiness, transparent financial accountability, and the global Great Commission.

You do not need to possess religious knowledge to attend. You will be greeted warmly, given a program, and invited to worship without pressure or awkward attention.
Songs of praise and scripture preaching are presented in clear Hindi and English, allowing multi-generational families to worship together in unity.
Children ages 3 to 14 participate in age-graded Sunday School with dedicated teachers, learning Bible stories, action songs, and memory verses in a secure setting.
Sermons are grounded directly in Scripture with practical life application, offering hope, wisdom, and deliverance for everyday challenges.
Giving of tithes and offerings is a voluntary act of worship for church members. As a guest, feel zero compulsion to contribute; your presence is a gift to us.
If you are carrying grief, sickness, or life anxiety, our pastoral team and prayer intercessors are always available to pray with you individually following the benediction.
